I've been digging through a bunch of online archive guides this morning, and found a very handy list of the main national and regional archives of Spain. There's a link to the National Historical Archive, the General Archive of Simancas, the Archive of the Crown of Aragon, the Historical Notarial Archive, and... the Archive of the Orange, where "scholars and researchers of the world of citriculture have at their disposal a complete Center of Documentation, an extensive collection of more than 5,000 orange brands, and a collection of more than 1,000 photographs."
This is way too much fun to pass up. I'm going to ditch all my boring research plans and make a name for myself as the Historian of the Orange.
(Can you tell I have a lot more free time to blog, now?)
